The Interview

1) How long have you lived in New York?
I was born in New York.
2) Where did you go to high school? What kind of student were you in high school? What were your favorite classes /least favorite? What sports and extracurricular activates did you do?
I went to Lafayette high school. I was honor of society. In high school I play tennis.
3) Did you go to college? Graduate school? If so, for how long? What degree(s) did you earn? Are you interesting in going back to school? If so, what do you plan to study?
I went to Brooklyn College and graduate school. I did masters degrees in school. Supervision and administration. I think learning never stop. Yes I really want to go to the high school.
4) How did you choose your current occupation?
I always want to be a teacher. I love kids and help young people.
5) What steps did you take to get this job? How did you learn about it? How many interviews did you have? Was the bring process difficult, not difficult? If a person were looking for a job at your company, what advice would you offer?
I had to through a process; I need portfolios with best practice, I had to give answer to several questions.
6) How long have you worked here? Have you worked in different capacities at this job? What jobs at this company have you done in addition to the one you do now?
I teaching about 30 years and for special education teach literacy coach and staff developer.
7) What is your job title and what are the three tasks or responsibilities you do most often?
My job title ciriculalaim specialist, supervisor teacher, providing professional to the teacher planning program for the school.
8) Who is your direct supervisor and what is her job title? How much do you interest with her on weekly basis? How many people do you supervise?
Ms. Sportella is principle is the principle and she is my direct supervisor. I interact with her every day very close working relationship. I supervise 40 people.
9) What are two examples of challenges you face working here?
I challenge making sure every children and teacher are save. All the children get possible education.
10) What is the best part of your job?
The children see the children happy face.
11) What is something you would like to change about your job?
I would like to change the long hour to make sure every thing is done.
12) Did you work somewhere else before this job? Where? For how long? How was that job similar or different?
She works for department of edu for 30 years.
13) What do you see as your future at this company? If you plan on changing jobs, what will you do?
I will continue what she is doing, no changes.
14) How do you hope I, high school intern, can most help your company or organization?
By providing lot help children that are struggling and by supporting teacher in class room.

Study hard, listen to your teacher, and choose your friend wisely.

Think long and hard about your passion because you going to do time.

My First Impressions

Before I never been in Stillwell avenue p and never heard the name The Talented Academy Scholars I was little sacred but now I know that I have to take b4 to go to my internship its was really different from school there are too much kids which are really cute and u need specially more patients. Because they are really made noise and loud if teacher saying them some thing they not going to listen but they are really intelligent if teacher ask them they give answer very clearly even they didn’t listen to the teacher. Every one is busy over there. The school decoration is really cool with cartoons and other stuff to.
The culture of my internship work place is some thing like IHSL because they are kids and they have partner to hold hands make sure they are with there partners and not talking. The office is really calm and peaceful and in class even kids are doing there work they are not going to quiet. The school where it’s located it’s really good and peaceful from out side like our school. My internship is really interesting because every day I have some thing new topic with different kids.
My mentor name is Ellen Lotz. She works on office. She works together and communicates with people. But her spot is different with her own desk chair and computer. My mentor is professional, wonderful, nice, kind friendly hard work and a good advisor. When I saw her first time I was scared I don’t know is she and sacred to talk with her after talk with her she is really nice and have good personality. She is work for kids study and trying to improve and make sure every thing going well in school. The environment in school is really cool pink, blue cartoon carpets are really look beautiful they organized school really good. The office is really big there 5 or 6 women’s work over there. The environment was really busy. There are some of teenagers from my school and some are in my class. My job is different activities every day not like other students because student has their own class room with the teacher but I have different some time I have to go different clusters some time office work, some time science lab and some time go to the different classes. I have to leave school at 12:00 o clock in afternoon and leave at 3:00 o clock and I have to finish 2 and half hour a day. I have some thing to share with you is learn patients when you work with kids.
